Healthy Murraylands Fun Run/Walk - 1 December 2011

The Healthy Murraylands Fun Run appeared on Channel 9’s TV Show ‘South Aussie with Cosi’ at 5.30pm Christmas Day 2011! To view the 2 minute clip click the image below.

 

 

The first day of summer was celebrated with the official launch of the Healthy Murraylands project, where over 160 people participated in a five-kilometre fun run and walk in Mannum.

Healthy Murraylands celebrity ambassador Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello hosted the event. People of all ages assembled at Mary Ann Reserve and completed the five kilometre walk or run which headed to the showgrounds and back to the reserve. Showbags were handed out to participants and official celebrations kicked off with a healthy barbecue after the fun run.
