Project Coordinator – Bianca Gazzola
Bianca is the Healthy Murraylands Coordinator working with all five Murraylands councils over the next two years to deliver a range of healthy lifestyle initiatives. Bianca is a dietitian who has previously managed successful national, state and community-based programs mostly relating to the promotion of nutrition, physical activity and obesity prevention strategies for families. Prior to her Healthy Murraylands appointment, Bianca was a Content Manager with the Raising Children Network, based at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Originally from Jervois, Bianca is excited to have returned to her ‘roots’ to lead the Healthy Murraylands program across the region.
Project Officer – Kim Smithson
Kim is the Healthy Murraylands Project Officer, assisting with the implementation of all aspects of the program. She has qualifications in Hospitality, Information Technology and is currently studying Event Management. Kim was employed as a Customer Service/Administration Officer at the Mid Murray Council from 2007 until 2011. Growing up in Karoonda, Kim is no stranger to the Murraylands, having also lived in Murray Bridge and now residing in Mannum.
